T3 Triple Pushchair

Most of the triple pushchairs I’ve reviewed on this site are perfectly adaptable for families with twin babies and a toddler – specifically the G3 Voyager and the Inglesina Domino Triple – although some can only be used from a certain age. There is, however, one option I have found that is specifically geared to this configuration of children, so I have given it its own review below.
T3 Triple Pushchair / Buggy with Toddler seat – from £525
Basically the T3 Triple Pushchair is completely unique in the market: a twin side-by-side pushchair that fits through standard doors with a detachable jockey seat for a toddler that is mounted above the twin carriage.
It is not a look that is readily familiar, but is a very practical solution for that in between stage where your toddler still needs carrying from time to time. When the toddler no longer needs a pushchair, the jockey seat is easily removed and you are left with a rather good-looking twin pushchair. This is also a great solution for childminders who may not always need to transport three children at a time.
The T3 come with a range of features that you would expect from a quality all-terrain model. The twin pushchair part has seats that are suitable from birth to 3 years; head huggers and five-point harnesses; retractable sun hoods, rain cover and foot muffs. The toddler seat also has a removable sun hood, rain cover and its own rather unique split leg foot muff. The system is pretty good for maneuverability with an adjustable handle, sturdy wheels with pneumatic tyres, and there is a very good-sized shopping basket underneath. The other great feature is that at a slim line 76cm wide, this pushchair will fit through standard doors; the only downsides are that it is rather heavy – 24kg – and to fold the pushchair for storage you have to remove the jockey seat first (though this is also foldable). All in all, a really unique design that offers both flexibility and practicality.
